, our Lord, how majestic
is your
name in all the earth ,
Who has
set your
glory above the heavens !
O
LORD
, our Lord, how excellent
is thy
name in all the earth !
who hast
set thy
glory above the heavens .
From
the lips
of babes and infants
you
have
established
strength ,
Because of your
adversaries
, that you
might
silence
the enemy and the avenger.
Out
of
the mouth
of babes and sucklings
hast
thou
ordained
strength because of thine
enemies
, that thou
mightest
still
the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider your
heavens, the work of your
fingers, The moon and the stars, which you
have
ordained;
When I consider thy
heavens, the work of thy
fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou
hast
ordained;
What is man, that you
think
of him? The son of man, that you
care
for
him?
What is man, that thou
art
mindful
of him? and
the son of man, that thou
visitest
him?
For you
have
made him a little lower than God
, And crowned him with glory and honor
.
For thou
hast
made him a little lower than the
angels
, and hast
crowned him with glory and honour
.
You
make
him ruler
over the works of your
hands .
You
have
put all things under his feet:
Thou
madest
him to
have
dominion
over the works of thy
hands ;
thou
hast
put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, Yes
, and the animals
of the field ,
All sheep and oxen, yea
, and the beasts
of the field ;
The birds
of the sky
, the fish of the sea, And whatever
passes
through the paths of the seas.
The fowl
of the air
, and
the fish of the sea, and whatsoever
passeth
through the paths of the seas.
Yahweh,
our Lord, How majestic
is your
name in all the earth!
