is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who has
hardened himself against him, and prospered?

removes

know it,

he
overturns
them in his anger

who can hinder him? Who will ask

Behold, he taketh

God will not withdraw his anger ;
The helpers of
Rahab
stoop under him.
If

How much less shall I answer him, Choose my words to argue
with him?

with him?
Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer .

of strength, lo
, he is strong:

if of judgment

I am
righteous

own mouth shall condemn me .

I am blameless
, it shall prove me perverse.

I justify
myself

own mouth shall condemn me :
if
I say,

am perfect
, it shall also
prove me perverse.

regard
myself.
I despise my life.

perfect,

soul:

and the wicked.

is one

suddenly, He will mock
at the trial of the innocent.

Now my days are swifter than a runner.
They flee away, they see no good ,

passed away as the swift ships ,
As the eagle that swoops

the prey.
